Dear customer,

I hope you had a good September. Our family safari on the Zambezi was just magnificent. It is encouraging when speaking to the locals how positive everyone is feeling toward winds of change. I picked up a Zimbabwean Dollar note for…wait for it…One Hundred Trillion Dollars. Thankfully the economy is again finding some level of normality since adopting the USD as their currency. Contrary to misguided belief, there are still lots of wild animals and game in Zim and therefore I openly endorse a safari adventure in this beautiful country. I was fortunate to attend this year’s Johannesburg International Motor Show last week and allow me to offer some strategic Insight into the future plans of Honda SA. The much awaited Civic 4 and 5 door models are soon to reach our showrooms. Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for some really exciting improvements to the Civic ranges as we know them. The exterior changes are fresh and elegant and the new interiors include cool new technology and better all-round space and visual appeal. The 4 door will be with us from December and the 5 door from March. Enquire for more details. Furthermore, we have a new 2 litre CRV coming in December. This will remain a 4x4 but with the smaller engine for those that might prefer an alternative. Honda SA is also investigating a smaller car, yes, smaller than our current Jazz. If all goes well, we might see its introduction at the end of 2012. This will plug an important gap within our consumer profile and should allow more people to access our Honda products. Honda quality is tried and tested and coupled with a small car price, we hope to attract the student and first time buyer. More about this next year. There are still other announcements in the pipeline but we have been asked not to ‘spill the beans’ just yet. Your patience is appreciated and the wait will be so worth it.
